A gentle immersion in the heart of the Vanoise! At your own pace. Discover the national park and its natural riches! Itinerant hike through the green mountain pastures, with nights in mountain huts, passing through passes and high altitude lakes, as the days go by, in grandiose alpine landscapes.

Day 1
Walking time: 4 h/5h depending on the proposed and completed variants - Positive altitude difference: 800 m
First immersion in the Vanoise along the water: up the Chavière valley
From the village of Les Prioux (parking lot where you can leave your vehicle for the duration of your stay), we climb along the Doron de Chavière
towards the hamlet of Montaimont, in the heart of the alpine pastures, to continue on to the Ritord alpine pasture, where we pause
to discover how Beaufort chalet cheese is made!
Either on the right or left bank of the torrent, we can then set off again in the direction of the Péclet Polset refuge
on the right bank of the Doron, depending on our fitness and the day's weather conditions.

A feeling of high mountains! In the heart of the Vanoise
From the Péclet Polset refuge to the Refuge du Saut (2126 m)
Starting from the alpine meadows of the refuge, we cross a glacial lock to discover Lac Blanc,
a veritable emerald in the heart of the Alps, home to the mischievous marmots. We reach the Col du Souffre (2819
m), kingdom of the Vanoise Park's emblematic lord, the ibex. We descend into a mineral world
following the valley carved out by the gigantic Gébroulaz glacier. We then arrive on a verdant plateau,
home to the Saut refuge (2126 m).

Day 3
Walking time 3/4 h - Total climb: 400 m - Total descent: 250 m
A change of scenery: a feeling of being in the heart of the Vanoise and a protected area
After a marmot's wake-up call and a hearty breakfast, we take the time to see Lac de Chanrouge before crossing the
the Col de Chanrouge (2531 m). Perhaps we'll spot a few chamois.
From up here, a feeling of space and grandeur opens up, as the mineral of the peaks rubs shoulders with the green of the alpine pastures and the turquoise of the lakes
and the turquoise of the lakes, where we can observe a few fishermen "teasing" trout and brook salmon
at Lac du Pêtre and Lac des Merlets! The mysterious upper Lac des Merlets is the deepest in the Vanoise!
Small variations are possible to take advantage of the immensity of this valley, where the famous
courchevel resort.
Meals and overnight at the Grand Plan refuge (2300 m)
Day 4
Walking time 5h. Ascent: 400 m, Descent: 900 m
The high point of this immersion: the ascent of the Petit Mont Blanc! A grandiose panorama!
A final day to observe the flora and fauna, learn about mountain farmers, blend into the landscape once again and simply enjoy the scenery
and simply finish off the 4 days we've spent at altitude. We set off for the Col du Mône (2456 m) to make the ascent (not compulsory!) of the Petit Mont Blanc (2680 m), an easily accessible summit that is emblematic of the Vanoise! Its geology is astonishing - you'd think you were on the moon! and its grandiose panorama over the Chavière valley with the Vanoise glaciers, the village of Pralognan and Mont Blanc in the background. It's time to descend over the Col du Mône to the village of Les Prioux, 900 m below, and return to our starting point.
We arrive in the afternoon in the village of Les Prioux, where the car we left at the start of our stay is parked. We'll have to adapt to the vagaries of the weather, mountain conditions and participants. In the final analysis, the supervisor is the sole judge of the program, which may be modified for safety reasons.
