Un ti tour au jardin - Hibiscus Nursery

The Hibiscus Nursery specializes in the production of endemic, native and medicinal species. The two-part tour enables you to learn to recognize the different species and discuss the extraordinary properties of these plants:

• "Hibiscus", discovery of the nursery.
• "Le sentier du Bois de Rempart", exploration of a nearby Creole garden belonging to the family.

Jean-Daniel Lépinay, your guide, is a member of APN (Les Amis des Plantes et de la Nature), an association dedicated to the protection, knowledge and transmission of our floral heritage. It is the 1st nursery to have obtained authorization to produce and sell endemic and indigenous plants.

Supplier of the APLAMEDOM/ADEPAPAM pharmacopoeia and partner of the Conservation botanique national - Centre permanent d'initiative pour l'environnement Mascarin, Jean-Daniel is a recognized player in the field of endemic and medicinal plants. He also works in collaboration with the Parc national de La Réunion and the ONF for the reforestation of the island.
