Mountain biking at the Volcano

Accompanied by Alexis, mountain bike instructor and mountain guide, this discovery tour offers an original way to explore the La Fournaise massif by mountain bike or E-VTT.

The itinerary alternates between the volcano road, 4*4 tracks and mountain bike trails, punctuated by stops with commentary at some of the massif's most remarkable sites, such as the Commerson crater and Plaine-des-sables. Depending on the group and the weather, the itinerary can continue to the Fouquet enclosure via the Bellecombe pass or the Tremblet trail.

This gentle, accessible tour takes just a few hours to discover this exceptional site, listed as a World Heritage Site since 2010.

- What to bring: water (2L) - snack - sun protection (glasses + cream) - light, breathable clothing - fleece - rain gear - gloves in winter - pants (to be brought at the start, depending on the weather) - change of clothes - health card + identity card.
