Stay "Secrets of the mountains
3 days
Medium

During these 3 days of hiking which will lead you from the Haute Tarentaise to the doors of the Vanoise National Park, you will find the mountain you came for, with panoramas with accents of eternity and villages struck with authenticity.

The mountains in small steps: gentle hiking

In the heart of mountain communities, sensory immersion and encounters in mountain pastures, hamlets and villages with surprising Baroque nuggets

This is an exceptional, one-of-a-kind trip, the result of a partnership between the Fondation FACIM (Fondation pour L'Action Culturelle Internationale en Montagne) and the Vanoise écotourisme agency.

Three days of hiking from Rosuel, gateway to the Vanoise National Park, to the authentic hamlets of Ste Foy-Tarentaise.

Panoramic views with a touch of eternity and authentic villages.

But that's not all! Behind these picture-postcard backdrops, the Vanoise is a whole history, written by generations of mountain dwellers who are waiting to tell you all about themselves.

With a baroque chapter inscribed right on the land, which you'll decipher along the way, taking you back 4 centuries.

A journey off the beaten track, punctuated by high emotions and new experiences, in the company of a mountain guide, heritage guides and locals who will go to great lengths to show you the mountains as you've never seen them before.

  • Day 1: Peisey-Nancroix, gateway to the Vanoise National Park, a mountain that reveals itself
  • Day 2: From village to village, cultivating traditions.
  • Day 3: Ste-Foy Tarentaise: From the mountain pastures to the villages, through the byways, an itinerary rich in meaning

GUIDANCE : The hike is supervised by a state-certified mountain leader.
