From the source on the Mont Lozère to Albi, the Tarn is the main thread of a very beautiful itinerary along the Grande Rivière Tarn.
You will discover Sainte-Enimie, les Vignes, Millau and nearly 20 villages and hamlets in the heart of the Grand Site of the Gorges du Tarn. While following the river, sometimes along the water, sometimes very high, on the ledges of the Grands Causses, you will take time to observe, to stop in the villages or to stroll with your feet in the water.
This great hike is organized from Florac. The itinerary goes down the river, goes up on the Causse Méjean and comes back to Le Rozier through the Jonte gorges. Arrival in Millau at the end of the week !
If you arrive by car : you have an appointment directly at your accommodation in Florac at 5:30 pm. If you arrive in Millau, you will take our cab (to be booked at registration) at 4pm to go to Florac afterwards. (Count about 1h30 of transfer).
