La Miellerie du Lauzet
"La Haute Vallée de la Guisane: it's in this land of flowery meadows and mountain pastures that our bees produce, at an altitude of 1,600 m, a high-mountain honey with a typically strong, slightly woody taste. This is also where our honey house is located, in the hamlet of Lauzet, in the commune of Monétier les Bains. Here, we use our honey to make a range of pastries and confectionery, including honeydew, gingerbread, honey shortbread, squirrel honey, honey-roasted almonds and chocomiel. We also sell jams, jellies, syrups and herbal teas (see "Les Cueillettes du Lauzet" in the local grocery section), all of which are certified organic. And here, we only sell what we make!"
