The lakes of Valaurette

Two itineraries are proposed for this outing. Starting from Castérino (840m ascent), in the commune of Tende, or from the Fontanalbe refuge (260m ascent), you'll discover the Valaurette lakes, at 2273m altitude, not far from Mont Bego. With your guide, you'll learn about Alpine flora and fauna, archaeology and geology. Alessandro will also tell you the legend of Fontanalbe.
