The immensity of the Anéou summer pasture, the mineral universe of the Pic du Midi d'Ossau, the break at the refuge on the edge of the lake, the softness of the Pombie valley, the freshness of the beech-fir forest and the torrent... All the mountain in one hike, entirely in the heart of the Pyrenean National Park.

Hike on and off the trail from the Anéou cirque near the Spanish border, to the Soum de Pombie pass, from where the Pic du Midi d'Ossau "jumps out at us". Passage to the refuge of Pombie to be at the foot of the Ossau and become aware of its immensity. Then it will be time to attack the descent of the Pombie valley in the middle of flowers, herds, marmots, and even isards, passing by the shepherd's huts and strange stone circles. And finally, to finish, the welcome shade of the forest along the torrent. A real summary of the Ossau valley.

Meeting at 8:30 am at the chalet of the Ossau Valley Mountain Office in Laruns, or 9:00 am at the parking lot of the Pont de Camps hydroelectric plant. From there we will go to our arrival point (Caillou de Soques) where we will leave our vehicles and take the shuttle bus to the cirque of Anéou, departure of our hike. Return to our vehicles around 5 pm.

About 400 m of positive difference in altitude and 800m of negative difference in altitude, 4h30 to 5h30 of walking depending on the group.
