Ecomuseum of Wildlife

Discovery and immersion in the mountain environment thanks to the fauna of the Alps. A fox on the path, an eagle at the edge of its area and the white ermine hiding. It is a real encounter with the mountain fauna that is offered to you at the animal refuge.

It is in the heart of the village of St Léger les Mélèzes in an old renovated farm that two rich collections of natural history lovers have been gathered to constitute the eco-museum.

It is a large exhibition and a fun and interactive course of 270m2 where the whole family can play, learn and exchange. Biodiversity is highlighted with more than 300 mammals, birds and reptiles, most of which are currently protected; the insects are not left out with a beautiful local collection.

The ecomuseum also offers artistic exhibitions throughout the year, as well as many workshops and discovery activities

Summer/winter school vacations: from Tuesday to Saturday from 2.30 pm to 6 pm

Spring/Autumn school vacations: Monday to Thursday from 2 to 5 pm
