Unusual accommodation - Sleep in a tepee at the Herberie de la Tille

L'Herberie de la Tille welcomes you in one of its tepee accommodations, for one or more unusual nights in one of the beautiful valleys of the Tille.

Located in an unspoilt valley, you can sleep in a place rich in biodiversity, as close to nature as possible.

If you choose to sleep in a tipi (for up to 5 people), you'll be as close as possible to the forest, for total immersion and an unforgettable experience. Overlooking the valley, you'll have the impression of being alone in the world, with only the sound of the wind in the trees and the gentle flow of al Tille below. You may even be lucky enough to hear an owl, the barking of a deer, or the shrill cries of a dormouse and its family!

The Herberie aromatic and medicinal plant garden is just 100 meters from the accommodation and easily accessible if you wish to take a guided or self-guided tour.

Tenants have access to an outdoor kitchen with crockery, sanitary facilities with dry toilets, cold shower (or the option of heating water with a solar water heater) and sink. Wood-fired barbecue available.

Numerous hiking trails in the vicinity, and activities available (treasure hunts, picnic rides with a horse and mule...).

Breakfast can be ordered the day before for the following day.

Located in the heart of the National Forest Park, at Vals-des-Tilleselsa Gautherot's Herberie de la Tille is a haven of nature and expertise. Elsa grows and harvests aromatic and medicinal plants by hand, while offering unusual accommodation in an authentic setting.

It's very important for me to pass on the knowledge I've acquired about plants, their history and their properties.
At the Herberie de la Tille, I harvest aromatic and medicinal plants that I dry in my drying room and then put into sachets for infusions or cooking... Everything is wild-picked very locally or lovingly tended by hand in a 3,000^m2 garden^.
I also offer two unusual accommodations, a tipi and a gypsy caravan, which I rent out during the summer months, from April to October.
I joined the Esprit parc nationallabel because, for me, it was an obvious choice being located in the Parc national de forêts, it gives me recognition for the quality of the plants.
It also emphasizes the locality of the product, showing consumers that it's very, very local, that it's made in the National Park and not elsewhere. It's an additional visibility for my accommodations, and also a means of communication.
It's a passion, it's a job you earn a living from, but you don't have to want to be rich doing it.
