Séolane university reception area

Séolane, named after a rocky massif emblematic of the valley for its geological structure, welcomes groups to work or discover the Ubaye valley's mountain setting.

The Pôle d'accueil universitaire Séolane was created in 2011 in old character buildings in Barcelonnette, to welcome scientists, training courses, seminars... around mountain-related themes. Several meeting rooms are available. Séolane is located in the heart of the Ubaye valley, an unspoilt site ideal for discovering nature and the mountains, at the gateway to the Mercantour National Park.

What's special about the center? To make your stay as enjoyable as possible, we offer a range of scientific and fun activities based around the mountains . This is what we call "scientific tourism".

Relaxation areas are also available, with access to the sunny terrace, the shady pine forest and the bar area.

Séolane's chef, with his many years of experience in France and abroad, offers typical family-style cuisine and menus to suit your stay!
