The Mas du Tes is located in a Cévenol hamlet of character, at an altitude of 300 m, between olive trees and holm oaks, near the river (Gardon de Mialet) and Anduze, in the Cévennes gardoises. Calmness in an environment both preserved and close to numerous cultural and outdoor activities.

We welcome you to an ancient bastide, for a charming stay in the heart of nature. Here, the Cévennes are southern, the stone is limestone and the tiles Roman, the olive trees are cultivated on terraces and the forgotten vine runs through the forest ... History is present everywhere and a nearby heritage trail will reveal all its secrets!

A land of origin for one of us, of adoption for the other, we have acquired part of the old family farmhouse, which we are now restoring in keeping with tradition (stone, wood, lime), and we look forward to helping you discover our little corner of paradise. Starting from the gîtes, you'll find hiking and cycling trails, and a swimming area. The Chemin de Stevenson - GR®70 is just 5km away and ends in Alès. There is also a stargazing platform in the commune.

"L'ancien Café

In the shade of an old mulberry tree, or on a solarium terrace ideal for stargazing, the gîte "L'ancien Café" is very pleasant to live in. The kitchen opens directly onto the fully fenced garden, offering a south-facing view of the Porte des Cévennes. The layout is essentially on one level, with kitchen, living room with wood-burning stove, 1 double bedroom (140x200, pocket-sprung mattress), shower room and 1 master suite (160x200, pocket-sprung mattress and shower room). A 3rd bedroom (2 single beds) is located upstairs. Sleeps up to 6 people.

"La Glycine

A shaded terrace in warm weather, under a wisteria in full growth, then the living room, kitchen, 1 double bedroom (160x200, pocket-spring mattresses), shower room and separate WC. A second bedroom (2 single beds) is located upstairs. The gîte can accommodate a maximum of 4 people . The Gîte de la Glycine is accessible via 1 outside staircase (separate entrance).

Tip: it's possible to rent the 2 adjoining gîtes at the same time, for a total capacity of 10 people. Pets are welcome.
