Nestled in the heart of a pine forest where you are lulled by the song of the cicadas, the Pin de Galle campsite is a rare place where you can feel the heart of Provence as it is: simple, beautiful and warm.

Here, the chalets, named after winds and islands, are surrounded by greenery: strawberry trees, carob trees, olive trees and aromatic herbs planted on the terraces.

A 7500 m2 haven away from time and hustle and bustle, giving you direct access to the sea as you make your way down the customs path, where the sea horizon reveals itself through the pine trees.

The choice is yours: 150 meters to the east, the walk leads to the cove and small beach of Pin de Galle, overlooked by the typical hamlet of fishermen's cottages. Or 400 metres to the west, the splendid Monaco beach with its tongue of sand bordered by transparent water.

Between swims and snorkels, you can join the coastal cycle path 400 m away, walk to the village of Le Pradet in 15 minutes or take a stroll along the many seaside footpaths and discover some unusual places. Once you've arrived at Pin de Galle, put the car down, settle in and, in the evening, enjoy a welcome drink and get to know the local specialities. Michel and Fanny welcome you as a family, to share their love of the area, tell you about its history and give you valuable tips for discovering this unspoilt environment with respect and serenity.

À la rencontre de...

In the past, the Pin de Galle was a vast property "in my family since 1723" says Michel Scioreto. His parents opened the campsite in 1955, and he took over the reins when he retired in 2000, after a career as director of a vacation center and then a retirement home.

Passionate about sailing, the mountains, rugby... and Scotch whisky, this bon vivant, open and generous, considers that "here, there are no clients, but holidaymakers". Many of whom, over the years, have become friends.

He confides:

As a child, I was a marine scout, and for me, Porquerolles was Stevenson and Treasure Island.

An imagination that has never left him and feeds his happiness to live in Le Pradet and to welcome visitors.

A former diver, he also says he is "happy with the success of the actions of the Port-Cros National Park for the preservation of this fragile environment. Joining the brand's approach was therefore "an obvious choice" for him. As well as to make the holidaymakers he receives aware of the respect of these exceptional spaces that he likes to share and discover.
