It's a bit of an honor to be a Esprit national park because we totally identify with the values of this brand!

Located at the entrance to the village of Aucun, opposite the Grand Gabizos, the Azun Nature campsite is a haven of peace in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park. The campsite offers shaded grassy pitches and "Nature et Bois" chalets, which benefit from a unique location on the site.

The campsite was created by my parents. The original idea was to create a campsite with bare pitches only. In other words, to accommodate tents, caravans and motorhomes. To be able to operate all year round, we decided to mix hard standing and tents.
Today, it's still important for us to welcome campers, and some of our guests in chalets. It's a very different clientele, and it allows us to offer more space on our site during the off-season and in winter.
We really try to harmonize our layouts so that everyone can enjoy a preserved natural setting. We design the chalets ourselves, and they are custom-built. The idea is to create accommodation that blends in as well as possible with the environment: chalets that are a little insulated, with lots of wood, lots of windows to take advantage of the view that we have right across the street, and of course designed with environmentally-friendly materials.
Our clientele today is mainly hikers, people who come to discover the National Park and all the things you can do there. We really focus on nature sports. For us, the National Park is about preserving the environment. It's also about promoting nature activities, discovering heritage, fauna and flora.
It's what we want to develop within our establishment and what we promote to our customers. It's a bit of an honor to be a National Park Spirit, because we totally identify with the values of this brand. Today, we're working a lot on sustainable development and designing more environmentally-friendly accommodation. For me, all these values are identical to those of the National Park. We're delighted to be part of this brand.

The campsite is also a refuge for the French League for the Protection of Birds. Nearly 25 species have been identified on the site. Birdwatching activities and birdwatching and wildlife outings are organized from the campsite.
