Gite of stage and stay l'Escapade

Yannick Lafon is the manager of the gite "L'Escapade" in Ayrues (Hautes-Pyrénées) since June 2021. He also managed another gite stamped " Esprit parc national - Pyrénées","La Grange au Bois" in Viella, and worked almost 20 years at the Tourist Office of Luz-Saint-Sauveur.

It was a bit of a coincidence that I went from being a salesman to managing a gîte. I am marked National Park Spirit - Pyrenees since 2016, at the beginning of this adventure. À at the time it was another professional of the brand in beekeeping, Viviane Luc, with whom I worked at the tourist office, who encouraged me to enter the network of marked. I didn't really know Esprit Parc National until then. The National Park team came to meet me, we worked together and I was quickly marked.

I have always liked this job because you meet other people from other backgrounds. It also allows me to work in a network and to guide, advise my visitors, for example on mountain guides, beekeepers such as the Miellerie du Pays Toy, manufacturers such as La Carde or simply to make known other activities such as Tom Rafting.

The brand has evolved a lot since 2015, we are more and more numerous. Being part of it allows us to know each other, whether in our valley or in the other valleys of the National Park.
