Camping Laliwondaj Kotesi

Laliwondaj Kotési in the town of Pointe Noire perfectly combines nature and culture. Located on the wooded morne of Belle-Hôtesse, it offers visitors a privileged setting for stays in the heart of Creole traditions.

The houses and the camping area are located in the heart of a natural forest delicately landscaped. This area highlights the floristic, ornithological and volcanological heritage of the region. A botanical identification trail will allow you to discover the vegetation, a bird observatory will delight birdwatchers, and an eco-museum on volcanism will shed light on the volcanic rocks that outcrop in the middle of the vegetation.

Your host, Geneviève, will welcome you and introduce you to the West Indian culture. To complete your stay, she will prepare succulent meals with local flavors for a deeper immersion in the Guadeloupean cultural heritage.

Laliwondaj Kotési offers a camping area, below the garden, a wooded platform is proposed to lovers of bivouac nights. A space to cook, bamboo showers and sanitary facilities are available to enhance your stay in nature.

Camping : From 15€ per night (tent not provided)

For people traveling with children, the domain also has a playground: the "bik a timoun".

À la rencontre de...

About fifteen years ago, Geneviève Francius discovered on the Piton de Belle-Hôtesse, an ancient volcano, now extinct, in Pointe-Noire, the place that would receive her cottages and her eco-museum.

She fell in love with the raw and wild space that was offered to her.

If the site already had bungalows in the Creole style, it was also dressed with majestic volcanic rocks, which have been preserved and which make all the charm of Kotési.

As a former teacher and doctor of anthropology, I seek above all to share the culture, lifestyle and traditions of Guadeloupe with my clients.

I have preserved all the charm of the site and I have composed with the elements of nature: luxuriant vegetation, volcanic rocks and birds of the Antilles.
