Allibert Trekking offers you a 7 days itinerant trip (level 3) to discover the Mercantour Park and the Vallée des Merveilles, its exceptional setting with a great variety of landscapes, lakes and fauna, as well as prehistoric engraving sites, with accommodation in gites and refuges.

Detailed program:

* Day 1: Welcome at 6 p.m. at the Boréon gîte (hamlet of Saint-Martin-Vésubie), gateway to the Mercantour National Park.

* Day 2: Day 2: Immersion hike in the larch forest. Overnight at the Madone de Fenestre refuge.

* Day 3: A very mineral stage awaits us today, with passages right on top of the Alps' last 3000 m peaks: le Gélas (3143 m), la Malédie (3059 m) and le Clapier (3045 m). A high-mountain atmosphere on a route used by local climbers in search of great routes. Overnight in a comfortable gîte in the heart of the Gordolasque valley.

* Day 4: A long, gradual ascent to the Pas de l'Arpette and discovery of the rock engravings in the Vallée des Merveilles.

* Day 5: A final farandole of lakes - Lac Fourca, Lac de la Muta, Lac du diable - brings you out of the Vallée des Merveilles. Overnight at the relais des Merveilles.

* Day 6 : Our path winds through larch trees and wide pastures before reaching the Prals drop. From here, a vast panorama opens up, with the high peaks of the Mercantour or the entire Mediterranean coastline! Whether you choose the ridges or the lakes of Prals, the route is up to your guide. End of stage at the Madone refuge.

* Day 7 : The ridge landscape reveals the sea in the distance. End of stay after the hike, at Le Boréon.

Level 3 : Itinerary for walkers in good physical shape, on generally well-maintained and well-marked paths, with a programmed ascent of 700 m / 800 m on average, and an average 5-hour walk.
