Mont-Lozère, sources du Tarn - Handicap Evasion
Camping Chantemerle
lieu dit, La Ponteze

France
Located in the south-east of the Massif Central, between the volcanoes of Auvergne and the Cevennes, the Mont Lozère is an old granite massif,
wild and preserved. Known mainly for its Stevenson's path with the beautiful stage by the summit of Finiels, it dominates
the Cevennes valleys and the Gorges du Tarn.
Together with the Handi Cap Evasion association and a group of disabled and able-bodied people, we'll spend 6 days in the Cévennes National Park, Europe's largest International Dark Sky Reserve. And to contemplate this jewel, there's nothing better than climbing together to the roof of Lozère, at an altitude of 1699m! This trip will take us through a variety of atmospheres, from forests and peat bogs to bare ridges. We'll skirt the Tarn from its source, making our trail through granite chaos.
