In the heart of the Cévennes National Park, under the starry sky reserve, Ann welcomes you to the former Barre-des-Cévennes school, formerly the children's school.
Unplugged, you'll enjoy a real return to basics, an invitation to total immersion in the ecosystems of an area rich in protected biodiversity and Romanesque natural and architectural heritage.

A land of refuge, camisards and maquisards, Barre-des-Cévennes is home to generous, hospitable souls, just a stone's throw from the Stevenson Trail, the Causse Méjan and the Gorges du Tarn.

The house has recently been completely renovated. From its terrace, you'll enjoy a soothing, unobstructed view of the French Valley: the Can de l'Hospitalet by day; Europe's largest International Dark Sky Reserve by night!

4 rooms for 4 comfortable atmospheres, combining the softness of organic linen, hypoallergenic comforters and organic cotton towels. All our rooms have en suite bathrooms with showers and toilets, hairdryers and organic shower gel/shampoo.

No disposables at Ann's! At her table, you'll find recipes prepared on site using local, seasonal produce from the kitchen garden, which you can also visit. Local producers are widely represented to support the community and create opportunities for meaningful exchanges with you.
